  • Where can I purchase the CÎME products?

    The CÎME products can be purchased online via the SHOP page of this website and in the shops listed on the STORES page of this website.

  • How many days until I receive my online order?

    This depends on the country of destination of your order.

    For orders to be shipped to Belgium and the Netherlands, delivery will be made within 3 business days.

    For orders to be shipped to other countries, the delivery time depends on the local transport partners. If you haven’t received your order after 5 business days, please contact us by sending an e-mail to info@cime-skincare.com.

    During busy periods (such as Christmas season), the delivery of your order may take a few days longer than normal.

    You will receive a separate e-mail when your order is ready for shipment from our distribution partner BME, with a tracking code so you can follow your order. Please make sure to check this track & trace code of your order to follow up the details.

  • How much do I pay for the shipment of my order?

    This depends on the country of destination of your order, and will be displayed on the CÎME SHOP page when placing your online order.

    For orders to be shipped to an address in Belgium, the Netherlands, France and Luxemburg the delivery cost is 4,95 EUR. The delivery in these countries is free for all orders as from 45€.

    For orders to be shipped the other countries, the delivery cost is 7.95 EUR. The delivery in these countries is free for all orders as from 75 EUR.

  • How do I pay my online order?

    You can pay with Bancontact, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Ideal, Belfius, KBC or ING by using the secured payment platform of Mollie.

  • What if I change my mind?

    You have the right to communicate a renunciation of a purchase, without payment of any fees or communication of any justification, within 14 calendar days following the day of receiving the goods.


    If you wish to take advantage of your right to cancel the purchase, you are required to inform us in writing within 14 calendar days of receiving the goods, at the following address: CÎME, Researchdreef 12, 1070 Brussels, Belgium. The goods need to be returned at your risk and expenses within 20 days of receiving the goods to CÎME, at the following address: CÎME, Researchdreef 12, 1070 Brussels, Belgium.

    Only goods which are intact and in their original unopened and undamaged packaging, accompanied by all accessories, leaflets and invoice or proof of purchase, will be admissible for reimbursement. The right of cancellation shall not apply to used products or products with (partly) opened packaging.

  • Why bio skincare?

    Organic skin care works in harmony with the skin and supports its natural ability to balance and repair itself. Only natural ingredients in their purest form – such as plant extracts, vegetable oils, floral waters and essential oils – are full of vitamins, antioxidants and essential fatty acids and can truly nourish your skin. Conventional cosmetics often contain petroleum and minerals oils that leave a film on the top layer of the skin. As a consequence thereof, the skin can no longer breathe and eliminate toxins (the skin is responsible for a quarter of the daily detoxification of the body), which leads to clogged pores and a dull skin. Moreover, a very large part of the products you put on your skin, enter the bloodstream directly. On average, a woman uses 12 to 20 personal care products a day as part of her beauty routine. In order to minimize the absorption of potentially hazardous chemical substances, it is therefore advisable to choose for natural personal care products. The word ‘natural’ or ‘organic’ is not legally protected, so any producer can use this without the product being truly natural and organic. Always look for the certificate of an independent certification body, such as Ecocert, Cosmos, Natrue or BDIH.

  • Are the CÎME products suitable for a sensitive skin?

    Our products are natural, do no contain synthetic perfumes, synthetic preservatives or coloring agents and are therefore suitable for a sensitive skin. If you think you have had a reaction to one of our products, discontinue using it immediately and contact us for more information..

  • Does CÎME use preservatives in its products?

    In order to safeguard the effectiveness of its products, CÎME makes use of packaging materials that prevent light and air to reach the active ingredients. In addition to that, CÎME uses a minimum of preservatives in its products in order the guarantee the safety and effectiveness thereof. We only use the preservatives that are allowed by COSMOS and natural preservatives such as vitamin E (tocopherol) and rosemary extract.

  • Do the products of CÎME contain parabens or phenoxyethanol?

    No, our products do not contain parabens or phenoxyethonal.

  • How do I use a serum?

    This is the last but one step in your beauty routine. After cleansing your skin with Recette de Pureté and toning your skin with Rosée des Roses, you apply a small amount of the Kissed by a Rose serum with your fingertips to your face and neck. Let this penetrate your skin for a few moments, before applying the day- and night cream. You can use the serum in the morning and in the evening.

  • Perfume is mentioned in the ingredient list. Which perfumes does CÎME use in its products?

    We only use natural mixtures of essential oils in our products. No synthetic perfumes are added. In the INCI ingredient list, the word ‘fragrance’ is used for all perfumes and fragrances, whether natural or synthetic.

  • Are the products of CÎME vegan?

    Yes, our products are vegan-friendly, with the exception of Himalaya 29°N-81°E and Le Baume by CÎME, that contain organic beeswax..

  • Are the products of CÎME tested on animals?

    No, our ingredients, prototypes and finished products are not tested on animals. All our products are tested by enthousiast human volunteers!

  • Is the packaging of the CÎME products recyclable?

    Yes, our packaging is recyclable and should be tossed away in the right bin. Our ambition is to replace all plastic packing in the course of 2019 by 100% post consumer recycled plastics, ocean waste plastic or plastic made from sugercane.

  • My packaging is empty. Can I refill my CÎME product?

    We will install a refill system for our newest products, the showergel and shampoo, that will be launched in the course of 2019.

    We are not a big fan of refill systems for daycreams. The airless packaging we use for these products allow to us to add a minimum of preservatives. We are convinced that this is better for your skin and your health. Thanks to this airless packaging, the active ingredients in the product stay stable so they can keep doing an excellent job for your skin.

    We have already investigated the possibility of refilling our facial care products, but a this moment this is not an eco-friendly solution: this would mean that we would have to collect the old packaging from different places and clean it with aggressive detergents before we would be able to use it again for cosmetics. A this time, it is better/more ecological to throw the old packaging away in the correct bin so that it can be recycled.

  • Do the CÎME day creams contain a sun protection?

    We work with antioxidants (such as Edelweiss) of which it is scientifically proven that they protect your skin from harmful UV-radiation. The advantage is that these are not damaging for your skin, your health and the planet and that you keep producing vitamin D. The disadvantage is that this is not a high SPF. So we recommend using (preferably certified organic) sunscreen when you go out in the sun. Also because most people apply their day cream in the morning and a SPF in this day cream can never protect your skin during the entire day.

  • What are the products for men?

    We don’t have products specifically for men, but men can perfectly use our products. Our experience is that most men like Daisy Delight, since this is a light cream that is easily absorbed by the skin. This can also be used to calm the skin after shaving.

  • Are the CÎME products suitable for pregnant women?

    Yes, all our products can be used during pregnancy, with the exception of the Himalaya balm (because of the essential oils it contains). The body lotion Green Tea Therapy and the dry oil l’Huile by CÎME are also excellent products to use on your growing belly (if you want them to be even more nourishing, we recommend mixing both of them in your hand). CÎME founder Anke was able to test this during two pregnancies and did not have any stretch marks afterwards :-)

  • Do the products of CÎME have an expiry date?

    Yes, after opening our products have a shelf life that ranges from 6 to 18 months. Check the packaging (search for the symbol with an open jar) for the exact shelf life of your product.
