DIY Turmeric Mask
Turmeric: Secret Beauty Weapon
Pamper your skin with this lovely DIY-mask. Turmeric is a spice often used in Asian dishes, but it’s also really good for your skin. This secret beauty weapon is a very powerful antioxidant that slows down skin cell damage and helps to reduce pigmentation spots and wrinkles. On top of all that it also helps with inflammatory skin conditions such as acne and eczema. Using turmeric as a beauty product derives from an old Indonesian tradition: the Mandi Lulur facemask. Javanese princesses used this purifying facemask to soften, sweeten and brighten their skin.
The CÎME-team tested this budget friendly and all natural facemask for you. We recommend the following recipe:
o 1 teaspoon of yoghurt to soften your skin
o 1 teaspoon of turmeric to calm and repair your skin
o 1 teaspoon of honey to moisturize your skin and to keep pores clean and clear.
o 1 teaspoon of rice flour to exfoliate your skin (optional).
o 2 drops of l'Huile by CÎME.
Just simply mix all the ingredients… But before you start your pampering session, make sure to protect your hair and clothes by using a towel and headband.
Apply this mask and leave it on for at least 10 minutes. Rinse your face with water, combined with an oil cleanser such as Recette de Pureté from CÎME.
